After several years of suffering major problems in my life I decided to take a coworker’s advice and get a channeled tarot reading from someone she knew. I’d been struggling ever since my dad, mom and then grandma all died unexpectedly in bizarre but separate accidents. I was a single mom with three teenagers whose behavior was getting out of hand and I had developed chronic health problems from all the stress.
I had talked with the reader by phone one night and was amazed at how she knew what I was feeling physically while she sent me healing energy. My feet and hands turned warm and tingly and I felt a release of pressure from my chest that I hadn’t even realized was there.
One weekend she was doing local readings and I went to see her. I was so stressed out! She put her hands on my shoulders and told me to close my eyes. In seconds she taught me how to ground my energy and open to the light. I started feeling a lot better right away. As part of her reading she pulled a botanical card from a deck… Hyssop. I’d heard of it but didn’t know what it was or how it was used. She said she made a healing oil that has Hyssop in the blend. She put a few drops on a piece of cotton and told me to breathe it in slowly. I was just starting to have an asthma attack and my chest felt very heavy. Within seconds of inhaling the oil my breathing eased and I felt less panicked.
She said now that I was grounded and centered we could proceed with my reading. I know that she passed on messages from my mother and grandmother because the words she used were exactly what they used to say to me. There was also a stern warning from my grandfather, who had suffered from asthma and emphysema.
I haven’t been able to make it back to see her again, but the messages that came through for me that day helped me to put my life back into perspective. We’re still a work in progress, but my kids are doing better and our house feels like a home for the first time in a long time.
