A Lost Gift

My husband and I were teachers and shared a wonderful life together.  We lived in a rustic little house in the country that had been in his family for generations.  The house and barn were filled with treasures from family who’d passed on decades earlier. After years of living alone I’d met and married another retired teacher.  We were both nearing our 70s and agreed that we needed a place that would be easier to manage.  We sold the house and decided to move to a small town in the southern US.  As our moving date drew near I felt more and more apprehensive about leaving the house where I’d known such happiness.

Some friends surprised me one evening and said they wanted to perform an aura healing for me.  They said that my deceased husband had a message for me about a very important gift he’d left behind and that through the healing it would be discovered. 
They guided me in meditation, directing me to gather colors from the astral plane to fill voids in my aura.  As we worked a loud knocking emanated from one of the cabinets in the kitchen.  When the healing concluded I felt so much more peaceful, but we hadn’t discovered what the knocking was all about. 

We cleaned out the cabinet… nothing.  The knocking continued and we took out the drawer above the cabinet.  There, way in the back of the drawer track was a crumpled envelope.  I finally managed to extract it and discovered a key and a letter from my dead husband.  He wrote that he’d had a warning of his impending death and he wanted to make sure that I’d be financially secure after he was gone.  The key opened a safety deposit box that held a life insurance policy that he’d purchased before he died.  Without the help of my friends I never would have found that very special gift from my former love.
