Meet your Guides and Angels

I came from a family where spiritual encounters were commonplace.  We were delighted with the regular visits from family and friends who had long since passed on and argued about who got to sit on Grandpa’s lap.

My elder sister and cousins cautioned that not everyone was as accepting as we were of the existence of spirits, much less the ability to interact with them.  Over time I began to learn just how true that was (mom was constantly called to school to discuss my disturbing habit of spending more time with people who weren’t there than with those who were). 

As I got older I wanted to learn how to connect with the spirit realm.  I met a medium at a psychic fair and took an all-day class on connecting with your guides and angels.  We learned how their presence would manifest for us:  visually, audibly or physically.  We practiced channeling messages for each other through our guides and were surprised at how accurate some of the readings were.  One of the girls there was having a difficult pregnancy after the death of her husband and was very worried about her baby.  Not knowing any of this I passed on a personal message to her from my guide that made her break down.  It was something that her husband used to say to her to let her know everything would be alright.  I was blown away by the experience and have worked hard ever since to use my abilities to help others.
